Subject: I totally believe Roger Clemens is telling the truth.

What a witch hunt! The Congressmen should be ashamed of themselves.

I made up my mind to watch the baseball steroids hearings with an open mind.

Having done so, I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that I totally believe Roger Clemens never took HGH or steroids or any other illegal substances.

The congressmen clearly exposed Brian McNamee as a total LIAR. He ADMITTED he lied about just about everything. The only thing he did NOT lie about was his name.

I think that it is a shame that such a great ballplayer who has devoted so much time to helping children should be falsely accused in the manner he is.

Just because Petitte and Knowblock took illegal substances should never have implicated Clemens.

I believe that Brian McNamee is going to be tried and will be going to jail for perjury. But what he did to Roger Clemens is far worse than perjury.

Roger deserves an apology.

I hope that somehow he can now get his reputation back.

That is not going to be easy.

I am sure that any fair-minded person watching the hearings will agree with me that Roger is totally innocent. They tried to lay gloves on him and they failed miserably.

I hope Roger makes the Hall Of Fame on the first ballot.

Thank God the circus is over. What a friggin' witch hunt this was. To think that these are elected officials is a very discomforting thought.

It's easy to besmirch a man because he is better than they are. He accomplished something in life, fairly and squarely. But, oh yes, "we must go after the biggest fish"!

Way to go, Roger.

You are my hero.

It was a partisan hearing. The Dems supported McNamee, the Republicans' Clemens (NT)Never mind that Andy Pettite contradicted himWed, February 13, 2008 1:20:52

Clemens has lied before...how he didn't swear in the '90 ALCS when replays and everyone else could see (and hear) for themselves...not to mention his reason for throwing a broken bat at Piazza in the 2000 WS...not to mention his phony "retirement" after the 2003 season (NT)Once might be credible, after that...Wed, February 13, 2008 3:55:49
