On my local station they were saying that Abraham Lincoln was part Jewish. They said he was not really shot in Ford's Theater but apparently was in a temple attending a religious service. They seemed serious. -- Duke Doggie's "DEEP DOO-DOO"

Is this a joke or was Honest Abe part Jewish? The guys went on and on and said he was called by his friends "Honest Avrum" and he hid his Jewishness in order to become President.

I have Googled and can't find a shred of evidence to support this so I think they were joking but maybe someone knows.
