Subject: Guiliani would have given McCain a run for his money, but for whatever reason he ran a NON-campaign. I don't think it was just his decision to bank on Florida, though.

In reply to: McCain wasn't the best that the Repubs had to offer. The nomination was hijacked by independents and dems voting in Repub primaries. 's message, "Re: Well I don't know about this Roe vee Wayne thing, but yes Obama is by far the best that the dems have to offer. I think most Americans are fed up with the Clintons and all of their dirty laundry." on Mon, February 18, 2008 8:28:14

I hope I am wrong but I don't think Guiliani is well. His virtual non-campaign was very strange to me.

He did not run looking like a man that had any interest in the Presidency.

In the beginning he looked fine but then it seemed he lost interest.

That is very strange to me.

I am not saying that he would have necessarily been the nominee but I believe if he had been serious about the campaign, be would have given McCain a real run for his money.

I am convinced that there is something going on.

Again, I hope he is well.

Re: Like McCain, Guiliani is too old to be president. He also was a flawed candidate with deep character problems, much like Hillary Clinton. Fred Thompson was anotherLosing early and losing often is not a winning strategyMon, February 18, 2008 8:54:15
