In reply to: Okay, some honest straight talk from a concerned individual. I am an Obama supporter but that support is lukewarm. And I know in my gut that he cannot win when it counts. 's message, "First, I like Obama and plan to vote for him. Second, I don't think there is any way he can win the general election." on Thu, February 28, 2008 6:29:44

inspires nobody. His talk that we will be in Iraq for a 100 years shows he's not up to the job. In fact, I think McCain is as dumb as G.W. Bush. And in my wildest midnite dreams I never thought we would have to deal with another person as stupid as Bush. But then McCain rears his ugly head! (and I do mean ugly) I'm not completely comfortable with Obama, but he is head and shoulders above McCain. I don't like the fact that Obama would make poor people pay higher utility rates. I heard him say on Good Morning America that everyone's electricity rates would go up under his administration. So in effect, Obama is for change. But when he gets thru with the American people, change is all they will have in their pockets. That said, I still think Obama is a better candidate than Billary or McCain. At least Obama was against the Iraq war and against NAFTA. Those two things alone make Obama better than Billery or McCain. I once thought I might vote for McCain, but I just can't do it. America deserves better!
