The Pastures & Paddocks

.. lush emerald feilds spread out into the distance around the buildings nestled on the property . acres and acres of lush grass and hay feilds stretch out far onto the horizon where the sun dipped low as you looked out into the west . rolling hills stretched out, segregated by thick high fences of rock or wood . the pastures were 20 acres square, including small patches of woods and thickets and a river bed flowing round the whole property - 6 in total . these pastures were for the herd stock - for those people who wished to have their horses kept out and live as close to being wild as they could . closer by were the paddocks, for individual horses and the larger ones for several horses . the stallion paddocks were located on the far side of the buildings by the stallion barns and the mare and foal paddocks by the mare barn with varied paddocks between and the pastures stretching out behind them into the distance . the paddocks were inclosed by white boarded fences, safe and with lush grass and water troughs - heated in the winter . horses grazed and played as you watched, sending calls out across the feilds into the falling night ..

{Horses may not jump the fences. The only time they may get free is if the gate is left open by someone careless..}
