Chandi's Cottage & Office


.. the beautiful cottage - settled down a tree-lined lane not far from the barns - glows radiantly with many colors . flowers of all kinds grow in the gardens contained by a white picket fence . a little sign out front directs your course either to the front door or around the side to the office enterance . the office door was found by a flower lined path of flagstones and moss, the rich chocolate wood of the barns striking you as you approach, gilded with the golden horseshoe and cursive silver writing beneath: 'Office' . no knock needed you enter into a small room cluttered by too many papers . there was barely a spot to be see of the walls behind bulletin boards of notes and show-dates and strings of ribbons and plaques and pictures hung everywhere . Chandi sat at a desk, her brown hair tied back out of her face and eyes buried in bills and desk covered with them . she looks up and smiles warmly, leaning back in her chair . the 20yr old looked at you questioningly, dark eyes glinting sharply . 'Hello! How are you today? Can I help you with something? Want to rent a stall? Sign up for a race? a show maybe?' . still wearing her riding chaps she stands up to shake your hand before sitting again, whisps of hair falling down near her cheek . up at the quaint house she allowed the boarders to come in and relax, watch tv and get a drink - though drinks that are drunk are hopefully replaced . the cottage was small, only a log home but it served it's purpose and was very warm . leather hung on every hook, waiting to be repared and crops stood in about every corner possible with other riding gear . Chandi's bedroom was upstairs with her own bathroom, a main bathroom on the main floor and downstairs was an apartment for rent . set yourself down and relax ..
