Subject: Calling you out

{At a Pheonix Promotion House Show, the crowd roars as “Wait n Bleed” hits over the PA system. The cheering becomes deafening as pyros boom and through the smoke at the top of the ramp walks NoBody! He heads directly down to the ring, steps over the ropes, and is tossed a mic.}

NoBody: Icon, you little rat-bastard, I’ve been waiting a whole goddamned week to hear your screechy little voice call me out, but what have I heard from you? Not a damned thing! I find that funny because just last week, when it was to be me and Phenom going up against you and Venom in a tag team match, you couldn’t wait to run your mouth. You boasted that you’d finally returned, that you were going to take over the Pheonix Promotion. I guess the fact that you had yourself a partner, and that you wouldn’t be alone in the ring with me made you pretty brave, eh? What’d you say you were gonna do to me? You said you were going to teach me a lesson, kick my ass, beat me down, all the usual garbage guys like you have been spewing for years. But what happened? I did the same thing I’ve done to guys like you for years, and that’s kick the living hell out of you. You and that little bastard Venom!

{Crowd cheers}

NoBody: But this week, at Blaze, it’s just you and me in that ring. There’s no one to hide behind, there’s no one else for me to lay my wrath upon. It’s just you and me. So you run and hide, don’t you, Icon? I thought this was going to be your big return. You’d finally pulled your head out of your ass, and you were going to start running things here? But as far as I can remember, every time we’ve met, I’ve beaten the hell out of you. Whether it’s in a tag match, or the fatal four-way, or even that one-on-one match we had a little while ago, I’ve taken you down time and time again. So go ahead, Icon, stay back there and hide. Keep your mouth shut for all I care. It doesn’t matter if you stay silent, because all you’d be doing if you spoke would be spewing that same trash that we all know is just not true. The fact is, you will come down to this ring at Blaze, I will stomp on you for as long as I feel like it, and then I will put you down for good!

{Crowd roars}

NoBody: But don’t worry, Icon. I’ll kick the crap out of you on Monday, but you’ll still get your title shot at Pheonix Rising. Oh yes, even though I’ve taken you and every other son of a bitch here down time and time again, Phenom is still going to hide behind your little match at Pheonix Rising, and keep that title belt away from me for as long as he can. So you’ll still get your moment of glory, Icon. Just make sure you show up at Blaze for your moment of agony!

{With that, “Wait n Bleed” blasts again, and NoBody throws down the mic. He raises his fists, then heads backstage under the roar of the crowd.}
