{At a Pheonix Promotion House Show, the crowd goes quiet as a fog pours into the arena. “Sweet Dreams” hits, and through the fog walks Springheel Jack! The crowd boos as he heads down to the ring, the fog trailing him down the ramp. He stands in the middle of the ring, raises his hands to the sky, and fog shoots out of his sleeves. He pulls a mic from inside his jacket and begins to speak.}

Springheel Jack: Jack’s back, baby! And The Pheonix Promotion’s mood is about to turn to grey!

{The crowd boos}

Springheel Jack: It’s been a few weeks since I’ve been out here in a Pheonix ring, but don’t think I’ve been sitting idly by, doing nothing. I’ve been watching, I’ve been training, and I’ve been hunting. That’s right, Vic Vegas, Jack Hammer, I’m out on the hunt, and you two are my next victims. I’ve been watching you for these past few weeks, ever since I found out that I’d be facing the two of you in our three-way match for the International Title, and I’ve got you both figured out. Neither one of you will walk out of that ring the Champion at Pheonix Rising. Hell, you’ll both be lucky if I let you walk out of that ring at all!

{Crowd boos louder}

Springheel Jack: Silence! Show your future champion some respect! And I know what level of respect a champion deserves. If you’ll remember, when I came into The Pheonix Promotion, I was the current champion elsewhere. But I gave up that title, destroyed it, actually, because I had set my sights on a new strap. The strap that Vic Vegas so meagerly defends to this day. The first night I graced this company with my presence, I said I would win that title and at Pheonix Rising I shall have it! I should have it already, but Vic Vegas is hardly a fighting champion, and even though I beat him one-on-one, that little bitch made it a non-title match! Well, at Pheonix Rising you finally have to put your title on the line, Vegas, and it will be me who walks away with the belt. It’s about time that strap had a Glorious Champion to hold and defend it, and so shall I be that man! There’s a fog rolling in on your title reign, Vic Vegas, and the sun is about to drop away!

{With that, “Sweet Dreams” hits again over the PA system. Springheel Jack raises his hands and fog raises out of the arena floor. It seems to follow him up the ramp, engulfing him at the top of the ramp.}
