Subject: A Morning With The King

))The sound of a radio tuning through channels is heard. As it gets closer to a channel the camera zooms back and an old radio is seen sitting on the table.((

Announcer: IT's 6 am in New York City. You're listening to 92.3 K-Rock! It's time for Howard Stern!

))American Nightmare is heard as the intro to The Howard Stern show plays out.((

Howard: Hey now! Good morning Robin.

Robin: Good Morning.

Howard: With us as always is Artie Lang.

Artie: What's up man.

Howard: We've got a huge show for you today. Wrestling star Nightmare will be stopping by.

Robin: Ohhh! I like him.

Howard: He gets you all warm and moist downstairs? What would Mr. X say about that?

Robin: Stop it!

Artie: Nightmare gonna give you sweet dreams?

))The room laughs. Just then Gary Delabante walks in.((

Howard: What is is Gary?

Gary: Umm, Nightmare is here already. He said he wants to come in now.

Howard: Can you tell him to wait a little while?

Gary: I'm not telling this guy nothing he doesn't want to hear. Have you ever seen this guy?

Howard: Ok, well send him in. Is he in character?

Gary: He's not wearing his mask, but I think you could say he's "in character:"

))Nightmare's theme 'I Will Be Heard' by Hatebreed is heard playing as there is ruckus in the room.((

Howard: Nightmare, welcome to the show.

Nightmare: Well thanks for having me here.

Howard: Feeling a little antsy this morning? I mean you weren't supposed to be in here for over an hour.

Nightmare: I know that. But I've always wanted to come on the show, and I have a few things to say. So I appreciate you letting me in early.

Howard: Well I wasn't going to tell you no. I think you could crush me with one hand. Look at this guy Robin. He's Freggin HUGE! I'll bet you're wondering if everything on him is huge aren't you?

))Robin laughs.((

Nightmare: Well like I said, I'm a huge fan so i just want to tell you Robin that I think you're beautiful. Artie, you crack me up man. Fred, I just don't get how you can be as smart as you are. And of course, Howard, King of all Media. That name suits you man.

Howard: Well thank you very much. So what's going on Nightmare? Where's the mask? I thought you were coming in here in character?

Nightmare: Let me set the record straight. A few weeks ago, I heard you had that Hack Golddust on here and he was doing his Torretts Syndrom thing. That's not my style. I don't have a gimmick.

Artie: What the Hell do you call that mask you wear?

Nightmare: Ok, I'll give you that. Yeah I do wear a mask in the ring, but that's it. Whenever you talk to me, I'm like you call, "in character". Mask or no mask, you get the same guy every time.

Howard: So you're telling me that you're alwasy like how you are on the show? I mean, you're a mean bastard.

Nightmare: Really, I'm a nice guy. Just don't piss me off. I mean when you flip the switch, you're stirring up a bunch of crap that shouldn't have been started.

Howard: Ok then. Let's get to this. What are you here for today?

Nightmare: Well I guess I'm here to promote The Pheonix Promition.

Howard: Let me look at your notes here. WOW! It says that you've won the World Title in every company that you've worked in. Ten World titles in all!

Nightmare: That's true. I'm a ten time World Champ.

Howard: Well Nightmare, if it's ok with you we would like to take a few phone calls.

Nightmare: Sure.

Howard: Let's go to Mike from Brooklyn.

Caller: Hey Nightmare. Welcome back man. I've missed you.

Nightmare: Thanks man. It's good to be back.

Howard: Mike, do you have a question for Nightmare?

Caller: Yeah I do. I watched your first match back the other night at Blaze. Great victory for you man. I was wondering where that Shooting Star Press came from and what is on the plate for you this week coming up.

Howard: What the Hell is a shooting star press?

Arite: That sounds kinda fruity for a wrestling move.

Nightmare: Let me hit your fat ass with it Artie and see how fruity it is.

))The room is filled with laughter.((

Nightmare: Anyway, The Shooting Star is somethign that I've always had in my back pocket. I never really used it, but I figured it was my return match so what the hell? I might as well. But don't expect to see that any time soon. As far as my match this past week. I told everyone that I was back and I was badder then before. I think I showed that this week when I took out Jack Hammer. I told everyone that he was a punk and I proved it. Granted, I should have hit him with The Tear Drop, but I wanted to put on a little show and let everyone see that I'm a skilled wrestler, and not just a brawler.

Caller: Well I've said that for years now. I've tracked your career. I'm like your biggest fan!

Nightmare: Thanks man. I appreciate it.

Howard: But you sitll haven't answered Mike last part of the question. What's on the plate for this week?

Nightmare: This week, I'm booked against Springheel Jack for the International title.

Caller: Title Shot already? SWEET!

Nightmare: Yeah, I'm already getting my shot at gold. It's not exactly the belt I wanted, but what the Hell? I'll take it. And I'll hold it. And when I get a hold of Phenom, I'll take his belts too! Springheel Jack is nothing more then another stepping stone. Just like Jack Hammer. Last week I told everyone that I was coming back and picking up where I left off.

Howard: Left off?

Nightmare: Yeah Howard, a few months ago, I had to lay down my title for personal reasons. Check your notes. I'm sure its in there. Anyway, laying down the belt was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. So as far as the record is concerned, I have never been beaten for that title that Phenom is now holding. So in my mind I'm still the champ. If I have to beat down every chump inThe Pheonix Promotion to get it back, that's not sweat off of my nuts. Know what I'm saying?

Howard: Oh yeah. I'm with you.

Nightmare: This brings me to Springheel Jack. The "so called" International Champion. His days are numbered. He knows that he is in for a world of hurt at Blaze. It's just a matter of time until I am holding all the major titles in The Pheonix Promotion. The International is first, then The World when I get my hands on Phenom. And now with my new partner Ensign Pheonix, we will soon enough take the Tag team belts as well.

Gary: Howard, I have a question for Nightmare.

Howard: Go ahead.

Gary: Nightmare, last week you announced that you will be forming an alliance with Ensign Pheonix. Now you two have had some great battles in the past. One of them being the time you won the World Title here at Madison Square Garden. What brought on this alliance?

Howard: Great question. What did make you decide to team up with him?

Nightmare: Simple. He is the only man in the company I respect. That match at MSG could have gone any way. If Ensign wasn't so preoccupied with Phenom, who knows. Maybe Ensign would have won. We will never know. Now I'm not saying I'm nervous about facing him in any way. We have had matches in the past and I've come out on top. But like I said, I have respect for him. The two of us have some things in common. One of them is our dislike for Phenom.

Howard: Well weren't you and Phenom allinged at one time?

Nightmare: Yeah. When I first came to TPP I was in The New World Order with him. And at that time I would have done anything to help him out. But in light of recent events, my respect for Phenom has faded. That goes for everyone else. They have all tried to capitalize on my absence. The company has gotten weak in my time off, and I'm not about that. They have all tried to become the "big shots" when really they know the only reason that they got anywhere is because i wasnt' around to whopp thier ass. That's all about to change. I'm back and I'm coming like a Freight Train with no brakes. I'm coming back to claim what's mine and the list continues on with Springheel Jack. Jack, you are nothing to me but a coward who likes to attack people while thier backs are turned. That was shown this week when you went after Jack Hammer before I got to the arena.

Howard: Do you think that took somehting out of Hammers game?

Nightmare: I figured that would get brought up. You know what? It really didn't matter. I had that match well in hand from the opening bell. I don't care if there were ten Jack Hammers in that ring. There was no way in hell I was going down. Just like this week. Springheel Jack can bring his best to the ring. But it's going to be all for not. There is nothing that he has that I haven't seen, and can't counter. He's out of his league and he knows it. I'm going to walk into that ring at Blaze and teach the world a lesson at the expense of Springheel Jack's body. Jack is going down and there is nothign that he can do about it. I'm the greatest to ever grace a ring, and I'm going to prove it time and time again. The personal troubles in my life are over, and there is nothign to stop me from rising to the top agian. IF the fans don't like it, I don't care! I'm not out there for the fans. Don't get me wrong, my fans are great. They know a real winner when they see one. But it's not like Im out there doing this for them. I'm doing this for me and me only!

Howard: Well is sounds like this Springheel Jack guy is in some serious trouble. Nightmare I would like to thank you for coming in today. It's been great to meet you and I wish you all the best in your wrestling career.

Nightmare: Thanks a lot for having me. It's been great to be here and finally getting to meet you guys.

Howard: And you can see The Pheonix Promotion's Blaze. Check your local listings for showtimes and channels. We'll be right back with a guy who says he sleeps with his sister.

Artie: I can't wait to hear this.
