Subject: Just Making Sure...

{At a Pheonix Promotion House Show, the Big Screen shows NoBody walking down the hallway. The crowd erupts at the sight of NoBody}

Rip: That’s NoBody! Who’s he looking for back there?

Smash: I think we’ve just found out!

{NoBody stops at a door marked “Nightmare.” He knocks on the door and waits for an answer. The door does not open. NoBody knocks again, and waits, and the door still does not open. NoBody pounds on the door.}

NoBody: Nightmare, you piece of trash! You in there?

{A PA walks past NoBody in the hall. NoBody grabs him}

NoBody: Hey, is Nightmare in here?

PA: No, no sir, he’s not.

NoBody: Well, where is he?

PA: Last time I saw him, he was in the dining room.

NoBody: So he’s in the arena?

PA: Yes.

NoBody: Just not in his room? But you’re sure he’s here tonight?

PA: Positive.

NoBody: Well alright. Get going now, you’re ruining the shot.

{The PA scampers off. NoBody turns to the camera, standing in front of Nightmare’s door, and grins}

NoBody: You see, Nightmare, I didn’t come to your door looking for a fight. I just wanted to make sure you were around. I wanted to make sure you hadn’t split. As we all know, you’ve got quite a little history of turning tail and running when you’re supposed to face me.

{The crowd cheers}

Rip: He’s right about that!

NoBody: In fact, the suits upstairs must be covering for themselves in case you do quit on us. That’s why my match isn’t the Main Event. They’d rather have our sorry, pathetic tag team partners square off in the Main Event than risk you running out again and messing up the show.

But they say you’re still in the arena somewhere, so I guess you haven’t quit the company again. That’s a good thing, Nightmare. You’re finally growing up. I’m still going to beat you down this Monday night at Blaze, but it’s good to see that your maturity level is at an all-time high. Granted, you’ve still got the weekend to realize what you’re up against at Blaze and quit the company, but I’m hoping you’ll make it to the ring. But when you do make it to the ring, and we finally get to dance, I’ll make you wish you’d never come back to The Pheonix Promotion in the first place!

{With that, NoBody smirks at the camera and walks away. The camera zooms in on the Nightmare sign on the door before fading to black}
