Subject: Heartless Powers

{At a Pheonix Promotion house show, NoBody’s locker room door is shown on the Big Screen. The door opens and NoBody walks out. The camera follows him through the backstage area to the staging area. Suddenly, “Wait n Bleed” blares inside the arena and the pyros boom throughout the building. NoBody steps out onto the ramp and the crowd goes nuts! He pauses at the top of the ramp, smiling and shaking his head, before heading down to the ring.}

NoBody: Higher Powers, eh? How fitting. Because Ensign Pheonix, you must be high as a motherfffff to believe half the crap that’s coming out of your mouth!

{The crowd erupts}

NoBody: Now my tag team partner, Phenom, he ain’t much. But he’s damn sure a hell of a lot better than your sorry ass, I can tell you that much! He whooped your pathetic ass last week at Blaze. We all saw it. He embarrassed you in the middle of this ring. And don’t you for a second disgrace this business by saying you lost on purpose. Not a single guy in that locker room, not the best of the best, not the worst of the worst, comes out to this ring to lose on purpose. And if your sorry ass is honestly going to throw a match, then you don’t belong here, or in this business altogether!

{Crowd roars}

NoBody: Don’t you dare say that you lost so you could “study” Phenom in the ring. Do you honestly think anyone bought that line of crap? You can study a guy without losing to him, chief. Hell, I studied your boy Nightmare throughout our whole match, and I still whooped that son of a bitch!

{Crowd roars again}

NoBody: But that’s just the way you are, isn’t it Ensign? You’ve never been anything better than average in anything in this business except for making excuses. You’ve been riding your name for quite a while now, and you know it. Well I’m the guy who ends fellas who’ve been getting by on their names. I will end Phenom at Shockwave, and I will end you whenever the hell you want to step into this ring with me. Your problem isn’t that you’ve got no talent, Ensign, because I’ve seen plenty of guys with less talent make more out of themselves. Your problem is that you don’t have any heart. Why else would you disgrace yourself by saying you lost on purpose? Why else would you try to act tough attacking a simple Promotion official? And why the hell else would you come out here and say that I won’t be going all-out in my Tag Team Title defense at Shockwave? That I wouldn’t mind losing the titles because I’ve got my shot at the World Championship in the same night? I am a warrior, Ensign, and a warrior always goes all out, always tries to win, no matter the stakes. You think I’d give up one title just because I get another? Hell no. I don’t know who we’re facing at Shockwave, but whoever it is, I’ll be giving my all in this ring, and I won’t quit until that bell rings and I find myself still one half of the World Tag Team Champions! But I’m hoping it’s you in this ring at Shockwave, Ensign. I’m praying for it. Because when I get your sorry ass in this ring, I will show you what it’s like to have heart…right before I rip yours out!

{With that, NoBody tosses down the mic and “Wait n Bleed” hits again. He climbs a turnbuckle and motions to the fans before climbing out of the ring and heading backstage.}
