Subject: Sole Survivor

{At a Pheonix Promotion House Show, the lights dim and pyros boom up the ramp. Black flames burst from the ring posts as “Wait n Bleed” hits over the PA system. NoBody walks out to the top of the ramp, and is met with the boos of the crowd. He smiles at them, and calmly heads down to the ring.}

NoBody: In just two days, three men will enter a steel cage to battle it out. And we all know that it will be me who climbs out of the cage as not only the winner, but the sole survivor as well! Because it will not be a regular fight inside that cage. No, brother, it’s gonna be a deathmatch! A bloodbath! The Last Stand for Karnage and Nightmare! It’s a shame, really, that these two so-called warriors will be put down like dogs by me on Monday Night. I was really looking forward to taking Karnage down one-on-one at the next Pay-Per-View, and I was damn sure ready to take that belt off of Nightmare the month after that. But I guess while good things come to those who wait, even better rewards belong to those who take them. And this Monday night, when we step into that cage fellas, I plan on taking those rewards right out from under you!

Last week at Blaze I got the better of Karnage. I cost that piece of crap his match, just like he did to me! And what do I get for exacting my revenge? I get attacked from behind, then kicked when I’m down. I see how you boys do business. Karnage, you’ve always got to have someone else fight your battles for you, whether it’s Ethan Masters running his mouth or Nightmare taking me down for you. And Nightmare, well for a so-called Champion, you sure are a pussy! Attacking me from behind, kicking me while I’m down? Waiting until I’m in the ring with someone else to attack? Those are cheap tactics, boy. And you call yourself a champion. Please!

But on Monday night, it’s a whole ‘nother story. On Monday night I’ve got the two of you in the ring at the same time, right where I want you. No more looking over my shoulder, wondering when the other pussy is going to show up. No more sneak attacks. Just a flat-out brawl for it all. And the three of us know who the real talent is. The real talent belongs to the one of us who isn’t too scared to come out here and talk. The real talent belongs to the one who doesn’t need a partner to help him along the way. The real talent belongs to the one who doesn’t rely on sneak attacks and dirty tricks to get over his opponent. The real talent belongs…to NoBody! And on Monday night, the world will remember that very thought. You will all witness my great Becoming, as I destroy these two nothings to prove to you all that the Pheonix Promotion belongs to NoBody!

{With that, NoBody raises his hands and flames again shoot out of the ring posts. “Wait n Bleed” hits and the big man steps over the ropes and heads backstage under a chorus of boos.}
