Subject: Ready for Blaze!!

NL: I just don't get it.

EP: What do you mean?

[Scene begins with Ensign and Legacy taking a break from training.]

NL: Your opponent for Blaze, Vic Vegas is getting everything handed to him on a silver platter.

EP: How so? Let me hear you out.

NL: We all come back on Seasons Beatings, and look who gets a World Championship shot? Our first Blaze back, after losing to Nightmare, Vic gets a shot when I was the International Champion, and got lucky and capture my prize. Now, he gets a shot at your title, I mean, what gives?

EP: I've heard that Vic had a impressive past here, and with him back, the boss is looking foward to seeing it come back again, but he's got alot to overcome, because climbing this mountain isn't easy. If you recall, Nightmare had to use a brass knuckle shot to gain a victory over Vic. Your my friend and partner, but you calling him brass chin didn't do you any favors. Your right, he took your prize, and is the current International Champion, but besides me, Vic is going to have to worry about Icon, because it's no secret that he wants his title back. Icon hasn't forgotten Seasons Beatings, so you can bet, he's training to set out all his cards to win.

NL: You don't sound worried at all. Sure, I may have spoken alittle overboard by calling Vic, "Brass chin", but I know first hand that he is indeed a tough opponent to overcome.

EP: Legacy, your big, very tough, so nobody blames you for being over confindent sometimes. The difference is, if it shows that I'm not worried about Vic, it's only because I have alot of respect for what he has accomplished. I'm not going to take him lightly at all.

NL: Hold on. Respect Vic?

EP: Yes. If you know what your opponent is capable of, you know what is to be expected. Sure, Vic has probably changed a bit, but if he's has good as I hear, then he'll live up to his past to make it on top for today's time, present. I'm sure Vic has heard alot about me, and despite all that have accomplished, it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't sweat me at all. You see, in this match, Vic and I both have something to prove.

NL: What might that be?

EP: Who truly can take the Pheonix Promotion to the next level. To shorten it all up, it all comes out to who will be or remain the best, however you wanna put it.

NL: Does it always have to come down to that? You know, being the best?

EP: Of course. And it's no secret that it would follow on being a world champion has well. Sure, alot of people say that the Excalibur doesn't count, but the boss has allowed it to, so people have to get used to that. I am a world's champion, and if it's too much modesty or arrogance, so be it, but I am one of the, if not "the" best in the Pheonix Promotion. You can't tell me that you don't want that in your career?

NL: Sure. It would be nice to be world's champion someday, and be considered the best, but I just find it to be something else to always want to be the best. Not that it's a problem or anything, but sometimes, it's just running the mile more then once, then you need to.

EP: Vic is already a powerhouse, and now being the new and current International Champion, he's got alot more drive. Motivation that will take him to high places, but when it comes to me, that's when he meets up with the stop sign. If Vic truly wants to be the best, then he'll have to get passed me, and that would mean to beat me fair and square in the middle of the ring. Just a man to man fight. If he can do that, then he'll earn more respect from me, and prove without a shadow of a doubt that he is the best in this business, but I just don't see that happening. I don't mean to burst his bubble, ruin his high moment, but if anyone thinks that Phenom's actions are slowing me down, then they have another thing comin. I was able to beat Jack Hammer, and come the next Blaze, it will be the same against Vic Vegas. I will remain has the Excalibur World Champion, and head on to Disturbance, and finally end this war between Phenom and myself.

NL: Well you have my support, I just know you can do it. You've always been able to set your mind to anything, and accomplishing it. I know I say this alot, but be on the watch-out, because with the new year here, and what Phenom has already done, who knows what might happen next.

EP: I'll keep that on mind. Phenom can play his mindgames, but from what I've heard, he's been training for his big comeback. I say, let him do what he has to do, and the same for me, let me do what I have to do. The answers will come at Disturbance, and I'll see to it, with all my power and determination, that I come out on top, because ever since I got my precious prize, that we all know as the Excalibur World Championship, I plan on keeping it for a long, long time. I will take this world championship to new levels, and if it has to start at either Blaze against Vic or at Disturbance against Phenom, I will do it.

NL: Well you seem ready and confidnent, so I guess we can get back to training, so what do you say?

EP: I say it's on. Let's be the best that we know we can be, our boss knows we can be, and of course, our beloved fans know we can be, so we can't let them down. Legacy?

NL: Wh...

[Before Legacy could finished, Ensign surprises him with a take down.]

EP: Now we're even.

[They both share a laugh.]

NL: We may be even now, but you won't get lucky anymore. I'm ready for anything you have to offer.

EP: Be careful for what you wish for.

NL: I'll take my chances. Afterall, this is training, but it also gives us a better understanding of what we are capable of.

EP: Your right, but we use the knowlenge to better ourselves against our opponents.

NL: I know.

[Scene ends with Ensign and Legacy preparing to start off their training again. Both looking happy and confident of what they are both capable of doing. Fades out before the two clash for their training.]
