Subject: A very special announcement

I'm coming to you guys today, not as a wrestler. Not as some character that kids would have a poster of on a wall. I'm coming to you as a man. A man who has come to a very difficult decision in his life.

First of all, a little over a year ago, I came to The Pheonix Promotion by working my way through MWA. I showed that I belong among the elite. And man they weren't kidding. When I came into TPP, I was totally shocked at the level of talent that was here. As of right now, I can honestly say that I have worked with and against some of the best guys in this business right here in TPP. You all are champs in my book. I thought I knew all there was to know about this when I came to TPP. BOy was I wrong! I have learned so much from so many here that I couldn't take the time to go through it all. Guys like Glacier, The Icon, The Disturbed One, The Wisdom, Phenom, Paul Maxx, Ensign Pheonix, as well as Pheonix Masters himself. I have learned from you all. NoBody, my biggest opponent. You have not only made me look at what I was putting up a second time to make sure it was good enough, but I have also learned from you as well. Everyone in here has contributed to my career in The Pheonix Promotion one way or another. And for that I'm standing here the World Champion.

This brings me to my decision. It is with great regret, and a heavy heart that I much lay the belt down. Certian things in my life have taken precidence and TPP is not going to be an option right now. So right here, right now, I lay down the TPP World Title. I regret the fact that I will not be able to face guys like Karnage, or NoBody to defend my title. Guys like Phenom, we have been on the same side since my first day. You are the one person that I have always wanted to face and never got the opportunity.

And it looks like the opportunity for that will have to wait. I just wanted to tell you all that I appreciate each and every one of you for what you have done. I know that my run as World Champ wasn't exactly honorable. Honestly, I'm not exactly happy with the way I claimed the belt. But non the less, I can now say that I have held the World Title in the toughest, most talent filled Federation that I have ever participated in. And for that I'm grateful.

I wish all of you luck in what ever paths you follow. But don't get too comfortable. Because it might not be for a year, or it could be next week. I will be back, and the results will be the same. One day, in time, I will once again stand in the center of the TPP ring as the World Champion.

The one last thing I would like to say. To Pheonix Masters, thank you for everything. You helped me with some things, and I know you know what I mean. You were a great help, and for that I am grateful.

So this is it. This is my last horra with the World Title. It was a fun ride. Through the NWO, and the present. I'll always remember the time I spent in TPP. But like I said, don't forget me, cause I WILL BE BACK AGAIN! You can all count on that.

Nightmare lays down the World Title belt in the center of the ring and climbs out. He heads up the ramp and into the back.
