Subject: Icon the time has come

The Lights dim in the sold out arena Days before the greatest event to happen in The Phoenix Promotion. “Ride of the Valkries” starts to play over the speaker as The Minister walks out to a chorus of boos. The Minister has a smile on his face as he slides in to the ring. He pulls the microphone out of his pocket and looks around at the crowd.

The Crowd:

Go To Hell Go To Hell

The Minister:

Oh, Yes I will be going to hell brother. This Sunday I will go to hell when I take The Icon and lock him in The Purgatory. You see I listened to Icon the other night come out here and say how he kicked my ass time and time again in the MWA. The last I remember he was laying knocked out and I was holding the North American Title. I guess people that are as immoral and twisted as The Icon gets a thrill coming out in front of all you sheep and lying. I guess he sees it as a way to get you people to like him and to worship him. I have never lied to you sheep, I have always told you what you needed to hear but because you are so brainwashed by the likes of The Icon you do not see the utter truth but instead focus on the utter nightmare that is The Icon.



The Crowd:

Shut Up Shut Up Shut Up

The Minister:

See, you sheep just proved my point. I came out here and spoke HIS truth and you mock me just like The Icon tried to do. I heard your little part about the priest and it made me sick. You are comparing me to some low level priest that thinks he knows the way of GOD. From the day I was born I have listened to GOD gospels in my head, I have listened to his every thought when he wanted me to hear. I am a true believer unlike you, Icon. I don’t go around calling myself a representation of a sacred or sanctified Christian personage. In case your wondering a dumb minister like myself is smart enough to read the dictionary and look up words. You see ever time you meet me you never saw me for what I am, a true force to be reckoned with, a man that is on a path of divinity. You, I have never underestimated. You are just like everyone else in the back out here to make a name for yourself. You will make a name for yourself but it will not be The Icon it will be as the man that got burnt by The Fire, The Light of Holy Damnation. You will feel the wraith of the one great one and know the meaning of being a true icon. So sayeth the Lord so sayeth The Minister.



The Lights go black as “Ride of the Valkries” starts to play. After a few seconds the ring lights up with a burning symbol of the Minister.
