I am trying to locate this poem. My girlfriend supposley wrote it to me! I would like to find out if there is any truth to this poem.

When the world seems to let you down,
and no one else sticks around,
just close your eyes don't make a sound
I'll be as close as I can to you.

When the sun goes up and then disappears
When you need someone to dry your tears
I will hold you for a million years
I'll be as close as I can to you.

I'll put away all I ever knew
to live this beautiful life with you
There is nothing that I wouldnt do
to be as close as I can to you.

So, please save a place for me in the rest of your life.
I'll prove my love is true
As long as there is air to breathe
I'll be as close as I can to you.
