Subject: *A young ottermaid walks to the front of the room.*

*Her fur is a strawberry-fawn color and her knee-length tunic is a medium shade of purple. A long, slim-bladed sword hangs in its sheath at her side. During the pause between songs, she starts to sing in a high, clear voice.* The mighty river flows fast and long. It rushes on by my home. In the summer it gurgles a happy song, and throws up small bubbles of foam. *She pauses, then nods to the musicians. As they continue to play, she takes a seat on the edge of the room.*
