Subject: Transition has set in...

A number of things have happened in the online improv world, namely:

  • Yakko leaving
  • The ASN closing down and Spell retiring
  • Extemp gone on hiatus
  • #wliia_games being completely inactive (old news, who cares?)

    We all know the 1-year anniversary special is coming up this Friday night in #wliia_games. This event will begin a major transition. I am going to be changing (or rather, "modernizing") the website quite a bit so it dwells on the present rather than the old online episodes.

    Spell has given me the rights to the Spell's Line in Britain episodes which were never aired on the ASN. Those will be appearing here soon.

    I am already having ideas for another new improv show, over-creative antlered animal that I am. This one is still in its formative stages, but I'm sure it will take place in #wliia_games and not have a set cast, but rather be open to the masses. Whatever "masses" means in #wliia_games anymore.

    #wliia_games is dormant as a doornail. I really want to start bringing it back to full activity. We all drifted over to IdiotSite when I said I was ending the episodes. This is the hook of the cane going around your neck and pulling you back there. I've noticed the considerably smaller crowds in #IdiotSite anyway. I want #wliia_games back. Of course, if I shuffle over pure-bred Idiots to #w_g, Jay will have my ass. I'm going to need to have any "regular" #w_gamer's support on this one. Please.

    I've changed #wliia_games from a seldom-used room into a palace of booming activity once before, I know I can do it again. The thought is even more plausible if I have lots of people to help and support me. I know most of the people reading this message will, too.

    I'll give the details on the new show whenever they bubble up high enough so I can get a clear picture. I'll rush myself.

    As for Extemp, it's just on hiatus. Several cast members have departed and we don't have enough members at this point in time. I'm sure, after we get #w_g back, we can start Extemp up again with a new cast.
