First I need to say thank you for inabling all of us to get a peek at Matt's awesome new web page. It definatley brings back alot of memories... ;-) So everyone needs to go check it out.
About the speech thing. I definatley think that the mic foley speech could place you in the same catagory as all the star wars geeks in the eyes of your college class mates...So I asked my room mates if they knew of any speeches that could help you out, and of coarse their reaction was..."Oh, tell him to do that awesome Martin Luther King speech." After some discussion we came up the Bill Clinton, "I did not have sexual relations with Monica Lewinzcky" speech, the Braveheart, "Freedom" speech, in which you have already perfected, and some speech from Earnest Hemingway that my weird English major room mate thought would be perfect. And i think the Bill Clinton one might get a few chuckles, but could still classify you as a dork. I am pretty sure that movie speeches dont count as historical speeches. And well I think what Earnest Hemingway would have to say would just be boring. So the only advice i can give to you is to go to www.historychannel.com under the speech catagory....they tons of them, and some pretty cool war ones. You are always good at those kind (isnt that sad...that i know you are good at qouting war qoutes...i mean what kind of person are you?)
Anyways...
It was very nice to hear from matt! I cant wait until people start posting religiously again.
Good luck to you will on your speech search...hopefully everyone will give you their input.
And i hope everyone is doing well!
love to all!
