Hopefully all of you took time out of your vigorous homework schedule to watch the MTV awards. In my opinion, Jamie Foxx's intro was hilarious, but he didn't do too well the rest of the show. Some other funny acts were Will Farrel's impression of Rage Against the Machine's drummer last year, of course Ben Stiller's appearance with "P Diddy" faggot name- what the hell is "Diddy"...honesly.., and maybe even Julia Stiles and the little monkey guy from SNL's little dance. There were some sweet performances by N*Sync, who took home every reward possible, and of course U2, with the best performance of the whole show, who were cheated out of every reward possible. Although the over 20 yr. old true rock band did recieve the Michael Jackson award,probably the best award given, which was special. I guess I'm satisfied. And of course the much anticipated, Britney Spears. Sorry Haley, she didn't rip her clothes off this year, but she was sexy- I sure wanted to do her, and I know all you guys did who watched!! Okay, I didn't REALLY want to do her, but she did a good job. The Mulan Rouge whores took home the best video award at the end which sucked- they're nasty. Let's see- the special guest appearance happened as N*Sync was performing "Pop", when the actual King of Pop, Michael Jackson busted out with his famous moon walk. I have nothing against black people and the whole thug R&B thing, I like it, but I think you guys will agree with me when I say that the whole award show was all about them. There wasn't nearly enough alternative/rock involved with the whole show. Did you see how big of a DORK Carson Daly was!!? What a queer. I guess that's it. All in all it was good entertainment. Matt, I didn't record it for you....I didn't get your IM until the show was half over. Shouldn't you guys get it there? Just another reason you're too confined in Australia- you can't even enjoy watching your favorite artists recieve awards for the music you listen to daily!! BUT....it will air again, probably 20 times in the next week. If you want, we can work something out, maybe even some extra surprise footage and a few summer pics. It's gonna cost you though.
