Subject: wacko Waco Author: Halz [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 10:57:16 09/28/01 Fri After several events that have happened here in my baylor life over the past couple of days...have made me realize that strange things go on in Waco. The other night as Bobby and chris pulled up to their apartment...there was a strange person dressed up in a giant bob cat costume...and we all were like..."ha ha...look at the giant bob cat!" And as we passed him he waved and chris commented on how it was kind of scary. Then we look back and the bob cat is chasing the truck...! And for some strage reason this inflicted alot of fear, cuase bobby floored the gas...peeled out...and got the heck out! :-) I just thought that was a weird story that doesnt happen everyday... Another story that happened recently ..a One legged black man stopped our friends and said..."would you help a one legged black man out?" and so to make a long story short...riding in the back of a one legged black mans truck to pick up bags and bags of recycleable cans from a 200 pound black ladies house with her laundry adn 200 pound black lady granny pannies hanging on a close line...is not a normal thing. So these stories have got me thinking about how weird things go on here...like my sister mikel saw her professor get ran over by a car..jolted high into the air...and then he just got up and started jogging again....and my roomate natalie was studying on our swing outside...and this guy from our apartment who is handicapped kept coming by in his wheel chiar at a fast pace like he was exersizing and his like 4th time around..he hit a rock and his chair tipped over...and natalie of coarse like runs over to help him...but he just hops up...gets behind the wheel chair and runs off!... and i think if i sat here long enough i could go on and on about random things that go on in Wacko waco..and i was just wondering if it is just me...or if ya'lls towns that ya'll live in have so many wierd people too?.... discuss...
