Subject: Athletic Giving Opportunities Listed

The Spring '04 Holy Cross Magazine contains an article about the proposed soccer stadium and one that lists specific opportunities to give to specific sports. These opportunites total in excess of $5,000,000 with $1,740,000 being directed to men's and women's basketball. Football is not mentioned. Mentioned are soccer, rowing, track and field, ice hockey and lacrosse. This is evidence of the College's intention to improve the quality of the coaching and facilities of the non-revenue sports. To those who do not receive the magazine by mail, it should be available online at the Development section of the HC website in the near future.
