Personally, I don't care who voted what....

My main focus is and continues to be on what/how/why HC's Trustees, McFarland and Regan either withdraw interest - OR - accept a delayed/revisited invitation.

If this is true (that Colgate voted for QU) I am truly suprised and I am literally scratching my head. Now I too wonder who is calling the shots. Our interm AD that has been involved in all of this is our hockey coach. I wonder if that has anything to do with it? Will our new AD have (coming from Brown) have a different opinion? And will our President make an overriding decision?

For the ECACs sake, if HC is willing to do what it needs to to become a part of the ECAC, they are a better fit and I hope some miracle takes place.

Could there possibly be some friction between Colgate and HC over the following ?

" The other challenge I should mention concerns football. Lehigh and Colgate are spending dramatically more on financial aid than we are in this sport. Right now, we are spending as much as the College's budget can handle. We are going to need to find some way of bridging the gap if those schools keep up with their current level of spending. that would not surprise me -- but this does seem to be the time for the president of Holy Cross to call the president of Colgate and directly request their vote -- it also appears that earlier reports that Harvard and Dartmouth supported the Cross were on target --
