Subject: Third year straight of 1300+ SATs and...
In reply to: kesiwick 's message, "Re: Potential Correction...." on 12:48:35 07/19/04 Mon

The PR site was just updated about 3-4 months ago with HC data of 1270, up from 1258. The 1258, I believe, was from the Class of 2005, which was characterized in a convesation I had with someone in admissions at the time, as a very off year that has not been repeated. Still trying to figure out the riddle of the reported 1270 score.

And I've tried to get admissions to update the data to no avail. God only knows why, in the competition to get the best students, we voluntarily handicap ourselves. It is one of life's greater mysteries.

Maybe NTK can get someone on the hill to do something about this.

Cheers.

that is pretty weak to continually under-report the SAT scores. who do you suggest emailing in the admissions office HC1843?

think: brick wall, your head, blood gushing...

but you can always try Anne McDermott - Head of Amissions - or James Richardson - author of the update letter and person in charge of the AAP.

Cheers.
