philosophy on not agreeing to certain series when it is not a 1-for-1 set-up impact us when scheduling. Isn't this one aspect of why we lost PC?

Let's also remember that Bucknell's schedule will only help their recruiting. I think we need to start swallowing some of our pride and travel wherever necessary (and reasonable given the school's academic classtime focus).

Cheers.

Bucknell's 2004 fall exam period is 12/9-12/16. HC's is 12/11-12/18. If Bucknell can schedule as they have, I don't see how a two day difference in the exam period can be a factor in preventing HC from scheduling as good a December as the Bison. There is a growing multitude of "holiday" tournaments.

hoops, very good point, and one I obviously overlooked. So whose task is it to attempt to alter the reading period/ exam schedule so that we lose only one weekend? Isn't this evidence of how athletics isn't even given one small basic consideration? Interesting is the fact that Bucknell has a one day reading period while we have a three day period. Why? A member of the basketball staff told me there was "frustration." Here's just one example.
