Another question/comment. This one about the before take-off checklist.

I was surprised and a bit concerned when I first started flying the RJ here that we do not test the thrust reversers on the first flight of the day. If I remember correctly, we are pretty well the only operator not doing this, including the manufacturer. We do test all flight control functions, why not something as important as T/R's ? God knows the last thing you want on the RJ is a T/R deploy on take-off, or have them go beserk on a rejected take-off.

It would seem to me to be inline with our all-safety policy to include this in the FFOD before T/O checklist.
