Nick are you absolutly sure that if you put 2 engine at 90% that you will get in fact the same thrust if one engine has the anti-ice switch open allowing some bleed air to escape the thrust core! I am not an expert but I was under the impression that some power could be lost. This is why we use different WAT charts with ice on otherwise it would not be required we could do with 2 set of charts one normal and one contaminated. This was very critical with bad conditions operating at YFC. All these talks and procedures were discussed heavily back then.
