Eyes narrow in woe at sight of poor animal, yet girl can see it is not exactly approachable at the moment.
Girl feels sorry for the poor animal and would very much like to help it.
Throws a few dog treats in his direction, hoping to gain its trust and maybe let her help it....
Girl was saddened to see how badly hurt it was and longed to ease it's pain and sorrow ( if it had any) and make sure it was well loved and cared for.
