Orbs diluted, gazing, but seeing nothing but his own private world. A large ochre hare...and the creature reacts with a delighted bay-jerking him back into reality. Peering about him with mild inquisitiveness, as if in a trance, the canine sedately reposes in the large transport kennel.
A large hand fumbles with the latch...releasing him from the silent den. Stumbling out, somewhat like a drunk, the beast stares in childish wonder of the place, dreamily wandering as far as his lead would allow. Snapping a blade of wheat grass nearby, the wolfish mascu' begins to relax into the hypnotic stare, hallucinating of his own fantasies...

The handler looks on with a worried visage, troubled by the possible fate of the gentle animal. Many times had occured where the dog had come within an inch of his life. Close attention must be paid to him..special care most were not able to give.
