Subject: +With a snort and a stomp...+

The bay quarter horse was led down the ramp of a bright new white one horse trailer. He marched off like he owned the place leading the man who was holding his lead rope over to a patch of grass where he grazed for a moment before the man could finally get a better grip on the lead and drag him slowly back to the trailer where he tied a snug quick release knot. The gleaming stud untied it within minutes but the man had been watching and he ran over and snatched it just as the black horse was about to take off. He got drug a few feet and stepped on before he let go and the horse cantered off tail raised and neck arched.

At one time he had been a powerful racing Quarter Horse but some fool had come along and retrained him in the sport they called calf roping. After bucking his owner off at a rodeo he had galloped around the arena and ignoring the attempts of the people trying to catch him he had gallopped out of the gate and gotton the rope that was attached to his saddle horn caught on the fence. He was stopped dead in his tracks and jearked back so hard that he had hurt has back very badly and pulled the fence down too. For about a year he sat in a pasture living on grain and grass, when he finally healed again he bucked off 5 trainers that were hired to ride and retrain him.

With another snort he trotted around then began bucking playfully his hind legs kicking high up in the air, with one leap he was off the ground, these were mearly playful bucks but still they had much power and agileness...
