Lincoln's Story:
Lincoln lived a very rough live before being abandoned by his owner. He had supposedly been shot at and pepper sprayed on a number of occasions. While Linc was great with the staff at the shelter, he did have a problem with male customers, making him less adoptable. He was also highly male dog aggressive...not being neutered being a huge factor in that....and making keeping him at the shelter very dangerous, not to mention the fear of him falling into the wrong hands AGAIN (although we do our best not to let that happen). After living at the shelter for over a month, assessing his behaviour, and growing to love him, we made the difficult, yet correct decision to humanely euthanize him. He was a staff favourite, my absolute favourite, and I can assure you that this decision was not made lightly. I can only hope that anyone reading this will understand the predicament we are put in when we must care for a dog like this and lie blame where it
truely belongs...on the irresponsible pet owner.
