She wasn't usually the one to touch him, he had initiated basically everything but that made sense - she was naive and unsure of what to do in a situation like theirs, he had more experience with physical touching and such. As he so briefly kissed her lips though, she gently let her hand slide around the side of his neck to the back so she could guide his head back down, pressing her lips back to his for a lingering moment.
