• He had been writing out some bills and whatnot that morning and then wondered about what was going on with Jackie before he wandered out to find Nina. She had been a bit quiet recently and he was wondering what was going on with her. His adamant refusal to sleep with her was for a lot of reasons - one, he didn't want to be just like any other guy she had been with or come in contact with, two it was a matter of pride that he could resist when no one else could...silly male ego and all that. Instead of heading towards the strip, he went to the beach, figuring if she was in a bit of a mood she wouldn't want the people fluttering around her. • He let out a soft breath, his eyes going over the ocean before he looked back to her. "Yeah, it gets pretty hectic at home, I'll be the first to admit that." He had been doing everything he could think of to show her that he cared whenever he had the chance but it was hard to keep everything going and in order and still try and show her that he was intrested. • She felt the tears well in her eyes then and she blinked quickly to try and defeath them, looking anywhere but at him as she ran her tongue over her lower lip. Her arms eased around his middle as he hugged her, allowing her head to come to rest against his shoulder as she closed her eyes a moment, quickly blinking away the tears and recomposing herself. In a strange way, it kind of boosted his ego that she was so wound up about 'them' he didn't think he had all that much to offer a girl but apperantly she didn't agree.
