A smile played on his face as he turned on his chair, though the expression faded as he saw who it was. Sure, her features had matured a bit over the year but she was still the same girl that had been his best friend since he was a baby, the girl who had held his hand through treatment after treatment - the girl who had brought him through the darkest times of his life and the very girl who he had screwed over in a rash moment, a decision that he had questioned repeatedly.
