"Listen, I am sorry if I overstepped a line or something in telling you to be careful, I just, I know what it gets like out there - and I am sure you do too - but its just hard to stop trying to protect you even if it has been forever since I had the chance too." He shrugged a bit. "Maybe I should have kept my mouth shut." The lecture from his dad hadn't put him in a very good mood or a very hopeful one - his dad had always been the one he went to when he needed to vent and now it seemed even he didn't understand him.
