"Taking lessons from my mom?" He kept one arm around her even as he gazed out the window for a moment - the last thing he needed was for his dad to see this and for it to encourage him. He needed her in his life, there was no doubt in it there, but he didn't need anyone pressuring him.

  • Her hands slipped down his chest as they broke apart, but at his arm around her shoulders, she looped both of hers around his waist and leaned gently against his side with a quiet sigh as she gazed up at him, breaking a brief smile. "I try... Because learning with my dad is like boot camp, but then he gets all upset when I have a question and I ask your mom instead of him..."
