  • she hurried up to the counter, telling the man to tell her mother that she was leaving, making a little conversation with him and having him go back into the kitchen to where Roxie was, before reporting back to her with a nod. She hadn't done what Starr had asked at all. She'd just asked a simple question in which she knew she'd get a positive answer for.
