RD: The Boardwalk
Years of shifting coastlines had changed the beach somewhat, but the clear blue ocean and white sandy beaches are still there and still the same, and still desirable. The private, almost hidden cove has remained the best kept secret of the local kids, and offers otherwise hard-to-find privacy and peace to those who want to chill on their own. Back where the beach is open, fresh, and clean, the typical surf shops and icecream parlors and that sort of thing line the boardwalk.
Down the coast, few years back, an assault by the local police department successfully cleaned up the Waterfront and banished much of the crime from the area. However, that was a few years ago, and slowly the drugs and gangs had begun to infiltrate once more. They called the area the Strip now, but despite the name change, it was will much like the notorious Waterfront, with a whole new generation of trouble. The moment the sun goes down, the Strip becomes the most active area of town. It can be merely a place to spend the night dancing, but it is also often the location of violence and illegal activities, and everyone should be cautious when venturing out at night.
