Subject: Some Ideas to Spark the St Norbert's Web Site

Not to repeat what has already been stated on the Index page but . . . we do need to find the right combination of stimulants to really get this St. Norbert's web site off the ground. What can be done to generate more interest? Offer a Sweepstakes maybe? Stalking those of you we know have pictures and memorabilia? Late night phone calls until you cry "uncle!"

How about making up stuff? That would help furnish material in pictures and stories. We could "discover" famous people who went to St. Norbert, like John Glenn before he moved to Ohio, became an astronaut and Congressman. I heard that Elvis spent his first few grades at St. Norbert. Fabricating stories also solves the problem of exposing your real moments of embarrassment to the public. If it's made up then who'd really care about the shame? We could be gleefully shameless!

We could offer other sections to the web site. Maybe offer a separate page for each one who wants one so they could describe their school experience and then how they turned out as a result of it. They could a "before and after" kind of thing. Like a "Where are they now" depiction.

Or maybe we should just let sleeping dogs lie (in a manner of speaking), and just let the site develop on its own, and if people submit stuff fine, if they don't so what?

What do you think? Maybe someone should run the site who knows how to generate some real interest? This place has been created for all of you out there. So far it's got 277 hits, so somebody is stopping by. Is there something we should do to get more creative? Is there something we can do?
