X.x.. Time after time again, this herd has survived. Being the first herd here, it gave birth to the other two herds that now reside in Danalia Slope. It's leaders have been great, legends all have become, most were descendants from the first, Hekkin. Yet all alike, they know the herd - and know what's best for it. And now, a new leaders stands... 'Tanner'. He has been the lead stag for one winter (year)- and shows no sign of standing down to let another take his place. So here he stands, The king of Danalia Valley and this herd, never to disappear at the jaws of a wolf, it's just not his nature ..x.X

X.x. A quiet, yet vibrant light snakes itself between the dense canopy of foiliage, Making shadows and designs 'pon the sodden soil below hoof. It illuminates everything this harem has to give. Tis' place in the heart of a wood - buried deep within, yet sunlight finds a way to grace the land with warmth. The advantage is that, Danalia Slope's twin stream is placed right 'side the herd, easy access to pure water when the thirst gets too strong. Yellow petals of buttercups brighten up the scene, placed at the toe of each large, winding tree. Shoots of emerald blades perk up within 'Bange Clearing' - a temporary feeding spot for the herd, if need be. The canopy of dense foiliage, mageled with various shapes and sizes of vines provides an umbrella for the herd, in the case of rain. Althought thunder and lightning is a hazard to this canopy, many forest fires have started on this land - well protected as it is. During the night, tempatures drop - the herd must bundle close to manage the harsh climate change. Their eyes, not suited for night, are thankful for the presence of minature fire-flys that flicker on and off like broken lamps - showing the dim outlines of the trees and familiar faces. This herd is close, extremely close - Enemies are not made within the herd, there is a pact of this. The does of the herd seem to stick together always fearing for the brave souled stags that protect the herd during the night, as the wolves seem to pick on this herd the most. Yet, when morning dawns, they are all, still, usually there... carrying on like their ancestors. Tanner makes sure of this. ..x.X
