When T'kaal entered the Hold, he found Moishe sampling the food.
"Hey, Moishe, have you ever wanted a firelizard?"
As if to emphasize the question, the blue perched on the bronzerider's arm let out an affirmative chirp.
"Well, I did think it would be rather nicer than always having to borrow ones. . . I can see where they'd be useful."
"My gold Aureala's at the flight air right now. I can give you a few from her clutch if you want."
"Would you? That's what I like about you, T'kaal. Always giving away what isn't yours in the first place. But if Aury doesn't mind, I'd love one of her hatchlings." That business taken care of, Moishe delved into a plate of seafood. "Mf... Good stuff. Y'ought to try it, T'kaal. You might like it."
Laughing, T'kaal joined his friend in sampling the goodies. "You're right, Moishe..."
"As usual�"
"Prime stuff, this fish." Suddenly T'kaal glanced up. "Hey... This is a Gather. I wonder where everyone else is...?"
