Application:

God's total, concentrated, adn undisturbed attention is focused on you as an individual. That ought to humble you and create in you a reverence that acknowledges Jesus for Mighty Creator He is. Out of the billions of people who make up this world, Jesus is personally intereseted in you!

Like Mary, you should learn to listen to the Lord's Words, seated with Him in conversation. When you do that, you can bet that you have chosen the "better part", which Jesus promises will NEVER be taken away from you.

For when once you do hear God speak, nothing else compares!! Go to Jesus today and thank Him that He is never too busy for you. He eagerly waits to hear your voice just as much as you wait to hear His! Put Jesus first! Place Him above every activity, every relationship and every material possession. The only thing we can take with us when we pass from this life to the next is what we built with Jesus here!
