The judges were not aware of the childrens personalities off stage or of anything else that took place except during the competition. Yhe two children were absolutely precious during the pageant - at least from what the judges saw -- after the pageant was over one of the other Mothers of a little girl who placed in the top five came to the judges table and wanted to give a six foot trophy to the judges because her child did not win. To say she was a poor sport would be an understatement and the message she was sending her child was that one should win whether they deserved it or not. The little girl was fortunate to have placed in the top five but the Mother could only see her as perfection.
