Subject: UTA FOOTBALL kicks butt!!

Congratulations to the basketball team for winning at Homecoming - but super-duper CONGRATULATIONS for teh football team having such a raging success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The crowd at the football game was more than double the size of the crowd for basketball. A trememdous effort for Sam DeBerry! The man is my personal hero for his efforts to make this a realitty!

I can never in my life forget that I saw this game tonight. I hitched a ride up from San Antone just to get here. I was dropped off in Watuaga and waited in the wind for thirty minutes to be picked up by a friend who waited in traffic because of the wind/dust storm. We attended both games and life feels gooood! It's that deep kind of happiness that rests in the gut and in the heart. These last twelve hours have been a most joyous event from start to whenever this night ends (cuz it ain't over yet)!! We'll be going over to JR ?entley's after the Student Leader/Alumni reception for a little celebration and I am ecstatic! I cannot wait to get back to my dormitory and write the article that is going to go on the front page of MaverickNation website. I hope that Ben or someone here, maybe Rowdy or Brandon will write one up for these sites too.

Well...the 9 o'clock news is on Fox now, and I hope there is a story.

Man, it's like this feeling will never end.....
