Subject: Coach's show on radio Thurs. nights 6-7

Broadcast was from one of the local restaurants. Heard most of the show. They talked to coach Cross, interviewed a few players, talked about the new arena and Texas Hall, the upcoming schedule. Main theme for this year will be defense and then from that a balanced offensive game. Team has some really good guards who can pass the ball and shoot the 3 consistently, forwards who can step out and shoot the 3 or drive to the basket, and centers who can really rebound and score around the paint. And coach seems happy with defensive effort this far. We saw good defensive effort during conference last year, if we can play that kind of defense all season long, we could be really good. Obviously we haven't played a minute of the season yet, but as young as we are, depth could really be a strength for this team and years to come. How the rotations/roles emerge will be fun to watch develop.
