UTA had to play pretty well tonight for the victory. Not the prettiest of first halves for UTA, but HSU played well for the first 20:00 or so. I don't have the stats in front of me, but HSU shot the 3 a lot but also made a lot of them. They were athletic, rebounded the ball well and contested a lot of our shots.

Eventually the Mavs found their offensive rhythm in the second half, got a few defensive stops, and took the lead.

Bo Ingram can really shoot the ball. HSU was using a 4-player mid-court press/trap for awhile and the Mavs seemed to handle it pretty well--usually resulting in a long pass to Reves for a dunk or getting fouled. He's a good free-throw shooter and nearly impossible to stop in the paint. This is a very athletic team. Can't wait for conference to get here.
