Don't kid yourself. The SLC is a long way from being a two-bid conference. To do that, we'd have to have every team in the top 200, and as it stands, we have a good year if 4 are in the top 200. It will help having UL-M leave, but there is a long way to go. Even if one of those were a bubble team, the RPI would be so low because they played others in the conference who are terrible. One could go in the NCAA's while the other could go NIT. That isn't out of the realm of possibility.

Also remember a couple of years ago, maybe last year, Sam Houston didn't make the conference tourney and was picked number one in the preseason polls the next year. We have a solid core of good players. The young ones seem to have worn down, and with the experience of that, things should be much better. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see a top 3 preseason prediction.
