Kmak is doing a good job. I'm sure if he had a bigger budget, he'd run ads in the FWST or FW Weekly every week. Or have a radio station at every game. Etc. Etc. But even TCU and SMU (much bigger budgets I'm sure) don't even do that.

But I'm getting the impression that maybe Kmak has more budget to work with than in previous years...seems like too there's a lot of marketing/advertising/PR majors that would give anything for an internship in the athletic dept. paid or not.

But winning and winning big will be the best thing to raise awareness. That's how it was when I was in school. When you start seeing similar coverage to other schools in the papers everyday, it makes your program look like a big deal. And with the last couple of recruiting classes we've had and some nice runs at SLC titles the last few years, the momentum is building.
