That's because their conference champion has won the tourney, while a 6th place team from the MEAC won theirs. Like Florida A&M last year with their losing record. BTW, Texas Southern played in the play-in-game last year or the year before. Believe me when I say this. The SWAC is the worst conference. It's hard to argue with the fact that year in and year out, they are rated the 32nd best conference out of 31. No SLC team should ever lose to a SWAC team. Period. End of story.
