If God cannot lie. Then he means that every time you spread his word he will honor your efforts and use them for a purpose. No matter how you do it as long as it is not illegal or disrespectful I know of alot of people that think that tracts are ineffective and just a waste of time. My hope is that after reading this if you are one of those people that you will change your mind and be encouraged to pass out tracts. .
Sowing the seed of the gospel.
A student at Jacksonville University in Florida was given a tract. The student crumpled the pamphlet up and tossed it into a trash bin in his dorm. Later, his dorm mate picked it out of the trash, read it, and was soundly saved. He is now a pastor of a church in Florida. “A Christian I met in a home group said his job was raking litter off the Avon River. It was dull, boring work and he often wondered what life was all about. One day he raked a soggy piece of paper off the water and decided it was interesting enough to keep, so he carefully placed it in his bag and took it home. That evening he dried the paper in front of a heater and carefully unfolded it, then he read it . . . it was a gospel tract. He became a Christian that evening.” Richard Gunther
Gospel tracts-how to use them. If Paul meant “by all means,” he no doubt would have used gospel tracts as a means to reach the lost. A Christian book relates the true story of a diver who saw a piece of paper clutched in the shell of an oyster. The man grabbed it, found that it was a gospel tract and said, “I can’t hold out any longer. His mercy is so great that He has caused His Word to follow me even to the bottom of the ocean.” God used a tract to save the man.
Why should a Christian use tracts? Simply because God uses them. He used a tract to save the great missionary Hudson Taylor, as well as innumerable others. That fact alone should be enough incentive for a Christian to always use tracts to reach the lost, but there are even more reasons why we should use them. Here are a few: Tracts can provide an opening for us to share our faith. We can watch people’s reaction as we give them a tract, and see if they are open to listening to spiritual things. They can do the witnessing for us. If we are too timid to speak to someone about the things of God, we can at least give them a tract, or leave it lying around so that someone will pick it up. They speak to the individuals when they are ready-they don’t read it until they want to. They can find their way into people’s homes when we can’t. They don’t get into arguments; they just state their case.

Dr. Oswald J. Smith said, “The only way to carry out the Great Commission will be by the means of the printed page.” Charles Spurgeon stated, “When preaching and private talk are not available, you need to have a tract ready . . . Get good striking tracts, or none at all. But a touching gospel tract may be the seed of eternal life. Therefore, do not go out without your tracts.” If you want people to accept your literature, try to greet them before offering them a tract. If you can get them to respond to a warm “Good morning,” or “How are you doing?” that will almost always break the ice and they will take it. After the greeting, don’t ask, “Would you like this ?” They will probably respond, “What is it?” Instead, say, “Did you get one of these?” That question has a twofold effect. You stir their curiosity and make them ask, “One of what?” That’s when you hand it to them. It also makes them feel as though they are missing out on something. So they are.
Perhaps you almost pass out at the thought of passing out a tract. Don’t worry; you are not alone. We all battle fear. The answer to fear is found in the prayer closet. Ask God to give you a compassion that will swallow your fears. Meditate on the fate of the ungodly. Give hell some deep thought. Confront what it is that makes you fearful. Do you like roller coasters? Some Christians want to try bungee-jumping or sky diving. Isn’t it strange? We are prepared to risk our lives for the love of fear-and yet we are willing to let a sinner go to hell for fear of giving out a tract. Ask yourself how many piles of bloodied stones you can find where Christians have been stoned to death for preaching the gospel. How much singed soil can you find where they have been burned at the stake? Part of our fear is a fear of rejection. We are fearful of looking foolish. That’s a subtle form of pride. The other part of our battle with fear comes directly from the enemy. He knows that fear paralyzes. We must resist the devil and his lies. If God is with us, nothing can be against us.
Never underestimate the power of a gospel tract. After George Whitefield read one called “The Life of God in the Soul of a Man,” he said, “God showed me I must be born again or be damned.” He went on to pray, “Lord, if I am not a Christian, or if I am not a real one, for Jesus Christ’s sake show me what Christianity is, that I may not be damned at last!” Then his journal tells us “from that moment . . . did I know that I must become a new creature.”
If you have never given out tracts, why not begin today? Leave them in a shopping cart, or put them in the mail when you pay bills. Then each night as you shut your eyes to go to sleep, you will have something very special to pray about-that God will use the tract you put somewhere. You will also have a deep sense of satisfaction that you played a small part in carrying out the Great Commission to reach this dying world with the gospel of everlasting life. Don’t waste your life. Do something for the kingdom of God while you are able to. Always remember: treat every day as though it were your last-one day you will be right.

Charles Spurgeon on Tracts:
“I well remember distributing them in a town in England where tracts had never been distributed before, and going from house to house, and telling in humble language the things of the kingdom of God. I might have done nothing, if I had not been encouraged by finding myself able to do something...[Tracts are] adapted to those persons who have but little power and little ability, but nevertheless, wish to do something for Christ. They have not the tongue of the eloquent, but they may have the hand of the diligent. They cannot stand and preach, but they can stand and distribute here and there these silent preachers . . . They may buy their thousand tracts, and these they can distribute broadcast.
“I look upon the giving away of a religious tract as only the first step for action not to be compared with many another deed done for Christ; but were it not for the first step we might never reach to the second, but that first attained, we are encouraged to take another, and so at the last . . . There is a real service of Christ in the distribution of the gospel in its printed form, a service the result of which heaven alone shall disclose, and the judgment day alone discover. How many thousands have been carried to heaven instrumentally upon the wings of these tracts, none can tell. “I might say, if it were right to quote such a Scripture, ‘The leaves were for the healing of the nations’-verily they are so. Scattered where the whole tree could scarcely be carried, the very leaves have had a medicinal and a healing virtue in them and the real word of truth, the simple statement of a Savior crucified and of a sinner who shall be saved by simply trusting in the Savior, has been greatly blessed, and many thousand souls have been led into the kingdom of heaven by this simple means. Let each one of us, if we have done nothing for Christ, begin to do something
now. The distribution of tracts is the first thing.”
Just a few Ideas on where to put tracts
At pay phones In shopping carts In clothes pockets in stores In letters to loved ones With a generous tip even if the service wasn't the best. On seats in restaurant lobbies With fast-food employees, cashiers, flight attendants, cab drivers, and gas station workers. In restrooms At rest areas On ATM machines and bank counters In envelopes with bill payments. Please make sure the bill is on time In elevators On hotel dressers for the maid and in the dressers On ice machines
On newspaper racks In waiting rooms of doctors’ offices and hospitals On seats at airports, subways, and bus stations In plane seat pockets Inside magazines In cabs In laundromats
At truckstops in the lounge In canisters at the drive-up tellerand in night deposit box In the postage paid reply envelopes you get with Junk mail Mail tracts to families that have just lost loved ones look through your papers obituaries. You can also mailthem to people convicted of DUI or other crimes
Put some in a plastic brochure holder by your door to give to anyone who comes to your door, and as a reminder to bring some with you when you leave the house. In open car windows To people you see waitng in their cars at parking lots. At libraries in books, magazines etc. If you rent videos put one in the movie you are returning. Leave them on video games in the arcade
Basically anywhere you go. Just pray that God will prepare peoples heart and open doors before you leave for the day and trust God to do the rest. Remeber it is God who does the saving not us. We are merely planters and waterers.
If God is speaking to you about your lack of evangelistic concern, pray something like this now:
Father, please forgive me for my lack of love for this dying world. From this day forward I
will strive to be a “true and faithful witness.” Please give me the wisdom to know what to
say to reach the lost. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
I hope that this will encourage some if not all to consider tracts. May God bless you.

If you cannot love a god who would let anyone suffer forever, you can copy and paste (if necessary) the following urls into the address bar and find out that a literally (not interpretively) translated Bible actually teaches universal salvation, not even annihilation.

THE SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD

If necessary, copy and paste the following url into the address bar.

Subject: HIS ACHIEVEMENT ARE WE by James Coram

The introduction at the beginning of each chapter is not the chapter itself. You must click on the highlighted title of each chapter to bring up the entire chapter to read it. Each chapter is quite long and comprehensive.

The “danger” in preaching the truth resides only in the imagination of the person who doesn’t understand the truth.

The online book “HIS ACHIEVEMENT ARE WE” by James Coram needs no defense. It stands on its own merit.
It has helped many people. It will help many more.

Most comments and questions regarding this book are responded to within the writing itself, for example, “WHAT ARE CORRECT TRANSLATIONS OF THE BIBLE?”

A frequent response to first learning about the existence of this book is,
“You believe the words of men, but we believe the Bible.”
But the actual reading of, “HIS ACHIEVEMENT ARE WE” by James Coram will prove to all readers that JUST THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE.

IMHO, "HIS ACHIEVEMENT ARE WE" by James Coram is the most powerful of all of the dozens of books that I have read, the hundreds of tapes that I have listened to, and the many online articles that I have read that show that a correctly, (literally, not interpretively) translated Bible teaches universal salvation, not eternal torment, or even annihilation. (I am 68 years old)

In fact, to me it is so powerful that it renders all arguments to the contrary completely irrelevant to the truth that it proves that, by the time God’s plan for the ages of time has been consummated, the universal salvation of all sinful creatures from everything from which they need to be saved, most certainly, will have occurred.

It can be read in its entirety online at http://concordant.org/expohtml/HisAchievement/index.html

Or, it can be Googled up by typing in HIS ACHIEVEMENT ARE WE

It has seventeen chapters, each chapter having its own highlighted heading followed by a short introduction.
Just click on the highlighted heading and the entire text of that chapter will appear.

Since I have read many writings, the sum total of which contain every argument in existence in support of the idea that the Bible teaches eternal torment or annihilation, I am confident that if anyone were to read "HIS ACHIEVEMENT ARE WE" in it's entirety, they would change their mind about their belief that the Bible teaches eternal torment or annihilation.

However, as a friend recently reminded me, one must be disposed of the Ultimate Placer to receive any revelation; it’s all about Sovereign causes & effects. Or as Ralph Waldo Emerson put it, “People only see what they are prepared to see.”

The hourglass is nearly empty. The culmination of End Times is upon us and the Great Tribulation is just around the corner. There are a total of TWO things that you need in order to obtain Eternal Life and Man-Made Religion is not one of them. (1) A Good Heart Condition. (2) An Acceptance of Christ as Lord and Savior. We urge those who wish to obtain Eternal Life in Christ's Kingdom to read the following very important message: An Important End Times Message

For additional End Times information also visit: End Times Truths Revealed

And for Free End Times Newsletters visit: : Free End Times Newsletter Storefront

We don’t aim to twist arms or convince anyone of anything they aren’t ready or willing to believe as their hearts will ultimately dictate what they perceive to be truth. However, it is also our responsibility to warn those who do not accept this Truth, will face Judgment at Armageddon. For this reason we pray that the eyes and hearts of all who read our message are opened to the Truth whether that is now, or in the near future when our words come to pass.

You can access my website through Google by typing in Rodger Tutt.

Because my testimony is helping so many people, I am posting it here so it will stay on your front page for awhile if that's ok with you. The many entries in my guest book that is accessible towards the bottom of the front page on my site, and the many positive emails in my email file folders, show that the content of my testimony is helping many people.

MY TESTIMONY

The idea that God lets any creature suffer endlessly has caused me more suffering than all other problems of my life combined. By the time I had reached the mission field I had hoped to have found a satisfactory answer that would justify God allowing this to happen. I didn't find such an answer. Surrounded by thousands of people, dozens of whom were dying every day and beginning an eternity of suffering in hell was too much for me.

In 1966, at age 28, it caused me to have a nervous breakdown. For several weeks I was confined to my bed in a state of terror night and day. The terror was caused by the fear of what a God I could not love or respect would do to me after I died. It took me twelve years to fully recover from the breakdown. I quickly became agnostic, for the Christian gospel and the Bible were no longer any comfort to me at all. Many evangelical friends tried to help me. They meant well, but in the end they all had only words of condemnation towards me. This added more suffering to my already intense suffering.

Gradually I began to learn that there have been, in centuries past, and still are today, a few people in the world that see a different kind of God in the Bible. They see a God who will not let any creature suffer forever. They see a God in the Bible who will change every second of everyone's suffering into something better that it happened, including the sufferings of Satan. I learned that a correctly (literally) translated Bible teaches universal transformation, not endless suffering in hell, or even annihilation. I read dozens of books, and listened to hundreds of tapes by men who believe this way and I gradually became converted to believing this way myself.

Since 1981, through my newspaper ads and my telephone ministry, I have sent out many hundreds of packets of literature explaining why I believe as I do. I have also sent this evidence to hundreds of pastors and Bible school teachers. None of them have told me that they are able to refute it. I have also read eight books that were supposed to refute the evidence in favor of universalism, but none of them do. Because of this evidence, my panic attacks became less frequent until twelve years after my breakdown they ceased altogether. Now nothing gives me greater pleasure than to make this evidence available to others who have suffered because of the same problem I had even though they have embraced Christ and His gospel for themselves, and I use a substantial amount of my money and time to this end.

Because of the enormous amount of suffering the idea of "endless hell" causes in this world, I am asking you to consider the possibility that you should stop endorsing the idea that the Bible teaches it. Or, at least, let others know that there are (and have been in centuries past) people who do not think the Bible teaches it.

Many of the responses from pastors and teachers range from a mild: "The majority don't agree with you so you must be wrong", to the vicious "For every week you leave your ad in the papers, God will increase the temperature of the fires of hell for you personally".
Most are somewhere in between these remarks. But none have told me they are able to refute the evidence. And, until they can, they will not be able to stop me from sharing the good news that a correctly (literally) translated Bible teaches universal transformation, not endless suffering in hell, or even annihilation.

A website that answers all the arguments that seem to support the idea that the Bible teaches endless suffering in hell is TENTMAKER. Although forum rules prevent me from posting forum links, you can easily Google it up. The “scholar’s corner” under “research” deals with every aspect of the subject. The more than 600 page search engine at the top of this same TENTMAKER front page is also very comprehensive regarding this subject. Just type in a key word or phrase from any argument or scripture passage, and ten articles will appear that refute the eternal hell and annihilation doctrines.

I am also going to guide you all to the testimony of a man whose experience was almost identical to mine. Even the thought processes that took him into, through, and out of his breakdown are the same as mine. Only he is much more eloquent in telling his story than I am in telling mine. His name is Charles Slagle.

Or, you can also Google up ABSOLUTE ASSURANCE

You can access my forum through Google by typing in Rodger Tutt.

It may well be that a few members of this form or surfers will be able to benefit from the testimonies of Charles and myself.

May God's blessing rest with your spirit!

THE ACTUAL TRUTH IS ALWAYS WORTH REPEATING

The “danger” in preaching the truth resides only in the imagination of the person who doesn’t understand the truth.

The online book “HIS ACHIEVEMENT ARE WE” by James Coram needs no defense. It stands on its own merit.
It has helped many people. It will help many more.

All comments and questions regarding this book are responded to within the writing itself, for example, “WHAT ARE CORRECT TRANSLATIONS OF THE BIBLE?”

Paul’s Gospel

Dr. William R. Newell

This is a great Bible study, a clear treatise on the truth of God for this age; the author was one of Americas greatest Bible expositors. It glorifies the Saviour, as the author desired it to do. It should be distributed by the millions. Dr. Lewis Sperry Chafer Dallas Theological Seminary You can read this Bible study by clicking on the link below:

Salvation FREE and Eternal
By – Cecil Spivey

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:15-18

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.] My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. John 10:27-29

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Acts 13:38-39

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Acts 16:31

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Romans 4:5

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:33-39

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10

And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Romans 11:6

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 1 Cor. 15:1-5

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Eph. 2:8-9

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Titus 3:5

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1 John 5:13

ONLY ONE CROSS FOR ALL DISPENSATIONS

Now it is quite true that God has different ages and dispensations and different programs with people but none of the dispensational or racial differences in any way affect the "gospel of Christ" that was foreordained for the salvation of any member of Adam's family that would "call upon the name of the Lord". Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Rom. 10:13; Acts 10:43; 15:10-11; 13:38-39. (Please honestly read these.) Though all penitent believers in Christ have His death baptism and His burial and resurrection put to their credit.

P. S.

If all the above Scriptures does not teach that the True Believer has Eternal life now and can not lose it. God’s word has no meaning. If you could loose Salvation, you could not be saved again no more than you can be born into the human family two times. You are born into the human family only once and you are born into God’s family only once.

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post on this board.

Allow me to ask everyone a question: Is there intelligent life in Outer Space? Are we really alone here on Earth, or did God create life elsewhere as well?

Well as I am sure you know, that is a question which people have been asking themselves for a very long time. I know it is something which I have likewise pondered for a number of years, since I was a kid actually, many years ago.

Well, since a few years ago, some people decided to find out the answer to that intriguing question. That is what the SETI@home project is all about. Some of you here have probably heard about it.

For those of you who are not familiar with it, SETI stands for "Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence". What the SETI@home project does, is it takes data collected by the radio telescope located in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, and analyzes it for repetitious radio signals at certain frequencies, which may possibly be indicative of intelligent extraterrestrial life. To date, after a number of years, they have found nothing definitive.

At any rate, the folks at the University of California at Berkeley, (who also brought us the legendary "After Dark" screensavers), invented a new way of analyzing data, whereby, instead of using a super-computer to crunch the data on their campus, (or "crunching the numbers"), they distribute packets of data, called "work units", or WU's for short, to regular people like you and me, who want to help them with the project. In this way, they have in effect created a super-computer which is made up of thousands of personal computers which are scattered all over the world. This form of computing is called "Distributed Computing", or DC for short. Some people also refer to it as "Network Computing". Naturally, this form of computing speeds up the process of analyzing the data significantly.

As of October of 2004, there are over 50,000 active participants in the SETI@home project, and over 5 million people have registered to date. The work load is distributed to all of these people by means of a small free program which each participant installs on his or her computer. This program, which is called the BOINC Client, (Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing), works as either a regular clickable program, or as a screensaver, and there are versions for both Macintosh and Windows machines, as well as for a few other platforms.

As I said, the BOINC client, as well as the original SETI@home "classic" client are absolutely free. You can download the latest version of the client for your particular platform at the SETI@home website.

As far as rules and obligations are concerned, there are no rules regarding when or how much you have to run the program. It is entirely up to you. If you set it to screensaver mode, it will only crunch data when you are not using your computer, and it is sitting idle, but still on. In other words, whether you run it as a regular program, or as a screensaver, it only uses CPU cycles that you are not using. That means that it will not interfere with any other work that you may be doing on your computer. It only uses the computer power that you are not using. Of course, the faster your computer is, the more data the program will be able to crunch in a shorter amount of time; and, if you happen to own a dual processor machine, that will give you even more of an advantage over others who may have single processor computers.

Some people might find the SETI@home project to be dull, boring science. Well, the people who run SETI@home thought of that possibility; and so, to make it a little more interesting and exciting, they introduced the concept of teams. Teams are where people who have common interests join together in order to collect more credits. Credits are given based upon how many work units you, (or your team), have completed, as well as by how many of those completed units are verified by other SETI@home participants. In other words, a quality control system has been implemented so that results are not validated until at least two or three participants submit the same results for the same work unit. So the idea behind SETI@home teams is basically to create an atmosphere of friendly competition; all of which serves the greater purpose of getting more people to crunch the data. There are school teams, university teams, business teams, and many others. You will find them listed on the teams page at the SETI@home website.

Now, this is where you and I enter the picture. Some people have attempted to form Christian teams in the past, but from the looks of it, it seems like most of them have floundered and fallen apart after a while. So, after pondering the idea for a while, I decided to start a new Christian SETI@home team called "Curious Christians". At the present, the only requirement I have set is that any potential member of our team must be a dedicated Bible-believing Christian. You can be of any denomination you like. All that matters to me is that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. I am a non-denominational Christian myself, and so the idea here, is to bring together as many Christians as possible to form what we might call one "super team" of Christians who want to participate in the SETI@home project.

Some of you might be wondering why I, a Bible-believing Christian, would become involved in a project which would seek to prove whether or not intelligent extraterrestrial life exists. Well, one reason is because, like millions of other people around the globe, I am curious; and I am sure that some of you here are as well. Whether or not God created intelligent life elsewhere is really an open question, if we can be honest with ourselves. Also, there is an element of excitement and fun to the SETI@home project.

Do I personally believe that intelligent extraterrestrial life exists, or that we will someday make contact with it? Those are rather profound questions which merit in-depth responses. If you would really like to know what I think, then I encourage you to read some of the articles. I am not allowed to advertise our website here due to this board's rules, so let just say that you can also read my personal profile at the SETI@home website in order to see what some of my current views are.

Of course, it would be dishonest of me to say that curiosity, fun and excitement are my only motivations for joining the SETI@home project. Being an evangelical-minded Christian, it is also my hope that, in obedience to Jesus' commandment to let our light shine before men, (Matthew 5:16), I might be able to share the Good News of Salvation through Jesus Christ with other participants of the SETI@home project. As I noted a moment ago, once you join the project, you get your own profile page where you can put a photo of yourself, (which is entirely optional), as well as tell other SETI members about yourself. In my case, I have used my personal profile as an opportunity to be a Christian witness to others. In similar fashion, as a member of the SETI@home messageboard, I have also created my own signature, which I also use as an open witness of my faith. This signature, which uses an image I created on my computer, also has a link back to our Endtime Prophecy Net website.

So you see, regardless of what your personal theological views are regarding intelligent extraterrestrial life, joining our "Curious Christians" SETI@home team is another way for you to be able to be a witness to others of your Christian faith, if you are willing. If you do decide to join us, you will also be able to use our special "Curious Christians" logo as part of your signature, should you choose to participate in the SETI@home messageboard.

If you would like to join the "Curious Christians" SETI@home team, please go to the URL below. Near the bottom of the page, before the links table, you will find a URL which will take you to a page on the SETI@home website where you can provide a few bits of information in order to set up your "Curious Christians" account. After you have set up your account with our team, you will need to install the BOINC client on your machine. If you encounter any difficulty in doing that, please let me know by email, and either I, (if you are a Mac user), or another member of our team, will help you out:

http://www.endtimeprophecy.net/SETI-At-Home/index.html

Thank-you so much for considering joining our team! I appreciate it!

Greetings everybody

I was wondering if anybody in this group is familiar with the various covenants that the Hebrew Torah (the Pentateuch) speaks of. These covenants are Israel's covenant, Abraham's covenant and Noah's covenant. These covenants still apply today, and Noah's covenant applies to all mankind apart from the children of Israel. The sign of Noah's covenant is the rainbow.
If anybody is curious about these covenants, feel free to take a look at the following website:

If anybody is even slightly curious about these covenants, they can get in contact with me at the below email address.

Kind regards

If you have been taught that you must give 10% of your income to a church you must read this article. It will change your life. It will show you plainly that this is a man made doctrine using scripture that does not apply to Christians under the new covenant.

i've got a copy of the Atheists Handbook.....anyone want it?...it'll drive the preacher crazy...it's a bombshell to the bible...a must have, just email me for it, free...Vampiresurfer@yahoo.com....i use it for quick references to thump bible thumpers on the head...leaves them looking like deer staring into headlights, right before you hit them...lol...don't know who made it, but it's a Christian's nightmare. i send it to many Christians too, they ask for it to challenge it, but i never hear from them again...or when i see them on message boards they ignore me, when i ask if they were able to challenge it...lol

Subject: Do we have a Christian duty to vote?

Author:

[ Edit | View ]

Date Posted: 06:32:18 11/05/02 Tue

Are Christians supposed to withdraw from the world or change the world? Christ told us to make disciples of all nations. One way we do this is to vote, and to elect candidates whose views reflect God's laws. We believers are not second-class citizens; we have a voice! Don't stay home on election day. Exercise your Christian duty to vote!

Many candidates for public office claim to serve the public but ignore unborn children who are killed daily by abortion. These candidates speak glowingly of human rights, but ignore the right to life. Be sure you know where candidates stand on abortion. After all, if a politician can't respect the life of a little baby, how is he supposed to respect yours?

Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, but to God what belongs to God. In this familiar Gospel passage, our Lord said the coin belongs to Caesar because it bears his image. What, then belongs to God? That which bears His image, namely, human life -- including Caesar himself! Let's vote for candidates who will uphold the laws of God.

Read what you need to know for the November 5 elections! Find helpful Christian materials to motivate others to vote! Visit www.gospeloflife.net and help others understand that believers have a voice in public policy.

Please help educate others about their political responsibility to vote pro-life by forwarding this message on to two or three of your friends or other mailing lists to which you belong. Thank you for helping to elect pro-life politicians. See you at the polls.

Shalom dear readers,

Hereby I want to tell you about the one true God, and give you shocking facts and data that has been suppressed by the Christian church for 2000 years. This was done by, amongst other things, burning Bible translators on the stake, mass burnings of Bible translations and corrupting Bible translations.
But now the truth is out. Look here:

www.geocities.com/Metzad

Please send this message to every Christian & messianic Jew you know and/or post it on every message board you can find. One way of loving God is making Him known amongst the nations. One way of loving your fellow man is showing him the truth and revealing the falsehood he has been exposed to.
